My Kodak Zi6 HD Review

As part of my Kodak Zi6 Review, I would like to share with you some ideas about how to use your Zi6. The great thing about this wonderful little camera is speed. I sometimes refer to it as my "run & gun" camera. Sometimes I just don't have a lot of time, but I want to post an article to my blog, or I want to post a video to YouTube.

Video is all the rage folks and it is certainly the future of the internet as we know it. When I started my community website, I made the decision to go heavy in video content. I knew that would give me an edge against my competition. How many blogs do you visit over and over again because of the video content? I'm always attracted more to someone's blog who posts videos. I guess it's because I'm a visual person.

I use videos to drive search engine traffic to my website. Did you know that YouTube is now the #2 search engine behing Google? That's right. You don't have to be a very smart person to understand what that means and how to use it to your advantage. When you search for things on the internet, haven't you noticed all of the videos that show up in your searches?

Since this article is about my review of the Kodak Zi6, I thought I would share with you one of the many ways to use the Kodak Zi6 to your advantage and to drive search engine traffic to your website..

Use the camera to shoot quick local video tours of places in your local community. Take the Zi6 with you when you go to the park or a local ball field. Take it when you make a visit to the local shopping mall. In this example, I'd like to explain how to use the Zi6 to do a local video review.

I like to mountain bike and I have a fantastic public park near my house that has about 7 miles of rolling mountain bike trails. I took my Zi6 with me one day as I rode my bike on the trails. Because I was on my bike for most of the video, there is some shakiness in the video but who cares? I'm on a mountain bike for goodness sake! I was able to highlight the park and the mountain bike trails. Many people may have never been to the park but now they know what the park looks like thanks to me and my trusty Zi6.

I posted the video tour on my local blog site and it has been a big hit. Google has sent me a ton of search engine traffic and I have found myself ranked #1 on Google for many Mountain Bike related terms in my area. It was so simple. It was something I was going to do anyway and I just grabbed my camera before I went. You can do this too!

In the video below I try to give you an idea of just how easy it is to shoot a video with your Kodak Zi6, upload it and use it to your benefit. Not only is it a lot of fun but now you can say it is for your benefit as well. I hope I have been helpful to you in some small way with my Kodak Zi6 Review.
